Delete account and data

Last updated: October 1, 2026

At CheckAut you have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated information at any time, directly from the App.

⚠️ This action is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm deletion, no data can be recovered.

How to delete your account from the App

  1. Open CheckAut on your device and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile and settings.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  4. Tap "Delete account and data".
  5. Read the notice and confirm by tapping "I understand, delete".

What data is deleted?

Upon confirming deletion, the following is permanently and immediately removed:

  • Your user profile (Google name, profile photo, and email).
  • All vehicles you have registered.
  • All expense history associated with your vehicles.
  • All reminders you have created.
  • All your vehicle documents (files, links, and, if you have CheckAut Pro, receipt photos).
  • If you have an active CheckAut Pro subscription, we automatically cancel it with Google Play when you delete your account — you won't be charged again, with no need to cancel it separately from the Play Store.
  • Your preferences and in-app settings.

What data is retained?

We do not retain any personal data after account deletion. Anonymous technical logs (error logs) that contain no personal information may be kept for up to 90 days for security and service stability purposes.
